Необходимо ли писать Sleep в цикле while для спотовой торговли?

Я использую язык JavaScript, и в системе отсчета, я не пишу Sleep в while, и это не кажется проблемой. API-документ также говорит, что отсчет может быть Sleep. Хотелось бы спросить, нужно ли писать Sleep на реальном диске? Может ли это привести к ошибкам в частых вызовах HTTP-запросов?
