Coincheck
Spot trading on the Japanese exchange Coincheck (API address https://coincheck.com). It uses REST only, with no market-data or order push. Private endpoints are signed with a Coincheck API key (Access Key and Secret Key). The exchange has no K-line, all-market ticker, market list or historical order endpoint; see below for how the affected functions behave.
Names and Configuration
exchange.GetName(): Coincheck (Spot).
| Field | Required |
|---|---|
| Access Key | Yes |
| Secret Key | Yes |
Trading Pairs and Contract Codes
Pair examples: BTC_JPY, ETH_JPY
Trading pairs are written BASE_QUOTE, matching the Coincheck native code btc_jpy; the tradable pairs are whatever the exchange lists.
Function Support
Not supported (the call fails with an error and returns null): exchange.GetTickers, exchange.GetMarkets, exchange.GetHistoryOrders, exchange.ModifyOrder, exchange.ModifyConditionOrder, exchange.GetHistoryConditionOrders.
Served through a fallback:
exchange.GetRecords: The exchange has no K-line endpoint; bars are synthesized by the docker from trades. The first call covers only the few bars spanned by recent trades, and more accumulate with later calls.exchange.GetOrder: The exchange has no single-order query interface, so the order is looked up among the current open orders; the exchange provides no historical order query, so filled or canceled orders cannot be found (null is returned).
Notes
- The amount of a market buy order is the quote currency (JPY) to spend (placed as Coincheck's
market_buy_amount); a market sell order uses the base-currency quantity. A conditional buy that executes at market once triggered is also sized in JPY. - Maker-only (
postOnly, limit orders only) orders are supported; thetif(IOC, FOK) option is not and reports an error. - Conditional orders use the
stop_loss_rate(trigger price) of the Coincheck order endpoint and support take-profit and stop-loss (without an order price they execute at market once triggered), not OCO; conditional orders are canceled through the same endpoint as normal orders. - When
exchange.GetConditionOrders()is called without thesymbolargument, take-profit and stop-loss cannot be told apart from the current price, and the conditional orders are returned with the generic condition type. - The orders returned by
exchange.GetOrders()andexchange.GetConditionOrders()only reflect the unfilled part:Amountis the remaining unfilled quantity (Coincheck'spending_amount), andDealAmountandAvgPriceare 0; for a market buy order (such as a conditional buy that executes at market once triggered),Amountis the remaining JPY amount. exchange.GetTicker()has no opening price, soOpenis filled with the last price.
